Doha: Aurora Toastmasters Club, one of the prominent Toastmasters clubs in Qatar, celebrated its centennial meeting recently.
After weeks of preparation, the club presented a truly glittering and meticulously executed event. The dignitaries & members were welcomed by the Club President TM Sahitya Reddy, who opened the meeting with a heart-warming message of gratitude and appreciation.
The proceedings began with a video specially made to commemorate the occasion. Past presidents and mentors of the club delivered speeches with poetry recitations, rapid-fire sessions & an innovative title ceremony where every club member was awarded a fun title.

TCU students answered a call to action on Monday, with dozens gathered at New Mount Rose Baptist Church in Fort Worth to serve the surrounding community.

Toastmasters clubs hold Tall Tales contest again after 20 years

Doha: PQASS Toastmasters Club, Zeal Toastmasters Club, HSE Toastmasters Club and Marathi Toastmasters Clubs of Area 8 clubs, Division B, District 116 successfully conducted Tall Tales contest on December 1, 2020 on Zoom online platform.
The event was open to all Toastmasters of District 116 and thirteen enthusiastic members competed with full enthusiasm. The contest was lined up with speeches that were full of, exaggeration, fiction and fun. Priya Shembekar, Shareef Mihlar and Anupama Kasibhatla emerged as winners.
The meeting drew a full house of more than 180 viewers, including toastmasters and non-toastmasters, who experienced the Tall Tale speech contest which was held almost after 20 years in Qatar.
