AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Meika Large says she placed a picture order, like she has done hundreds of times.
Naturally, she thought picking them up would be a quick transaction.
However, when she got there, the employee at the Walmart Photo Center spread out all the images on the counter and began going through them with her.
The situation, she says, just got stranger from there.
âI had about five different new born pictures and half of them he barely had clothes on, because well they are newborn pictures,â said Meika Large, the mother of the baby âShe went through all of them and only picked that one and said she couldnât sell it to me because it was considered child pornography.â ....

PARKERSBURG Walmart is temporarily closing its supercenter at 2900 Pike St. in south Parkersburg through Wednesday morning for the building to be cleaned and sanitized.
The closing, which began Monday afternoon and will conclude at 7 a.m. Wednesday, the closing was not due to any outbreaks of COVID-19 at the store, according to both Rebecca Thomason, Walmart senior manager of corporate communications, and Carrie Brainard, with the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department.
“In the event we do have a confirmed case at any of our stores, we are working with those associates and offering guidance and time needed to receive medical care. Associates have been encouraged to prioritize their health and stay home if feeling sick,” Thomason said in an emailed statement. “We also implemented a COVID-19 emergency leave policy for all associates who feel unable or uncomfortable coming to work. ....

PARKERSBURG – Walmart is temporarily closing its supercenter at 2900 Pike St., Parkersburg, today and Tuesday for the building to be cleaned and sanitized.
The store is scheduled to reopen at 7 a.m. Wednesday to provide associates time to restock shelves.
The move is part of a company initiative to allow a third party to thoroughly clean and sanitize the building.
“Everything we’re doing is for the well-being of our associates and customers, and in consideration of guidance by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and health experts,” Rebecca Thomason, senior manager of corporate communications, said in an emailed statement. “When the store reopens Wednesday, we will continue conducting associate health screens and temperature checks, and all associates will be provided with facemasks and gloves.” ....

Rumors are bound to assume a life of their own in a smaller city like Redwood Falls. Perhaps you heard exaggerations about a recent water problem at Walmart?
“I heard the roof collapsed.”
“The flat roof gathered water and it eventually gave in and came plunging through.”
“They’ll be shut down for weeks they’re not letting anybody into the story.”
None of those were true, according to Rebecca Thomason, the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications out of Walmart’s national office.
“The incident you’re referring to happened back on December 9,” Thomason said.
Thomason’s version of the incident lacks the sensational details of the rumors, however, which sound more like a variation of the Metrodome’s roof collapse that has gotten recent media attention over its anniversary. ....
