James Luther Harrell, 83 of Middleway passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, Dec 22, 2020 under the care of his loving wife, children, grandchildren and Hospice of the Panhandle. Born August 19, 1937 in Shepherdstown, WV he was the son of the late Raymond Luther Harrell and Helen Creamer McElroy.
Jim was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County. He graduated from Charles Town High School. He joined the United States Army and served in Germany.
He retired from the 3M Company after 35 years. He worked part-time at the Charles Town Race Track for over 16 years. After retirement he worked at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown for 10 years. He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. ....
