The College of San Mateo’s director of marketing and community relations turned himself in to San Jose police after authorities issued a warrant for his arrest for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with two teenage girls.
According to police, Richard Rojo, 52, met one of the victims on social media in November of 2020. He then engaged in sexual activity with that victim and an additional victim. The girls were 14 and 15 years old at the time. San José Police were made aware of the incidents in December of 2020.
Richard Rojo, director of marketing and community relations at the college, turned himself in at the San Jose Police Department after an arrest warrant was issued for him, police said.
