Prosecutors asked for 30 days to determine any restitution to the victim, which Mohler allowed, and Chan’s attorney said his client would accept.

FRANKFORT, Ind.  Former Purdue University student Richard Chan entered into a plea agreement Wednesday to admit to rape for sexually assaulting a woman inside a portable toilet during a Sigma Tau Gamma party in rural Clinton County.
As part of his plea agreement, prosecutors will dismiss two other charges of rape against Chan, who is now 20.
The plea agreement limits his sentence to no more than nine years and no more than five years in prison.
The formal change of Chan s plea to guilty will happen June 25 at his sentencing hearing.  ....
