Pilot from East Windsor experiences mechanical failure of plane, suffers minor injuries during crash   On June 6 at approximately 5:02 p.m., Robbinsville Township Police Communications received a 911 call advising of a place crash in the area of Gordon and Sharon roads. Upon patrol unit’s arrival to the area, the pilot of the aircraft was observed walking around the area and a plane was located in the middle of Sharon Road near the intersection of Gordon Road. The pilot of the plane was identified as a 47-year-old male from East Windsor. He was transported via ambulance for minor back pain. The aircraft was identified as a 1966 Piper aircraft.

Robbinsville Police Hosting 2-Day Easter Egg Hunt Despite the ongoing pandemic, Robbinsville Township Police are making sure local children have some safe, traditional fun for Easter this year, according to the police department s official Facebook page. The Robbinsville Township PBA #344 is hosting a two-day Easter Egg Hunt this weekend. The hunts will be held this Friday (April 2nd) and Saturday (April 3rd) from noon - 6pm each day. All children are welcome, up to 12 years old. You can go whenever you d like during the hunt times,and hunt at your leisure. There s no specific start time to avoid the mad rush at the beginning of egg hunts in pre-pandemic times. Lol. Don t worry, there will be plenty of eggs for everyone.

Robbinsville Police Take Active Role in Interstate Investigation of 1,000 Thefts by One Suspect

March 8, 2021 at 5:16 PM ROBBINSVILLE, NJ  The Robbinsville Township Police Department (RPD) announced on Monday the ongoing role of the Criminal Investigations Unit in an interstate investigation that has lead to the arrest of one man accused of committing more than 1,000 thefts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey over an 18-month timeframe.  According to RPD, in late 2019 the suspect allegedly committed overnight thefts from unlocked vehicles between the hours of 3:00am and 6:00am. Surveillance video that was obtained during the investigation captured the suspect wearing a “gaiter” type mask, dark sweat pants, gloves and carrying a satchel. Investigation into these crimes developed that the same actor was responsible for thefts in Pennsylvania as well.
