Pilot from East Windsor experiences mechanical failure of plane, suffers minor injuries during crash
On June 6 at approximately 5:02 p.m., Robbinsville Township Police Communications received a 911 call advising of a place crash in the area of Gordon and Sharon roads.
Upon patrol unit’s arrival to the area, the pilot of the aircraft was observed walking around the area and a plane was located in the middle of Sharon Road near the intersection of Gordon Road.
The pilot of the plane was identified as a 47-year-old male from East Windsor. He was transported via ambulance for minor back pain.
The aircraft was identified as a 1966 Piper aircraft.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. Police are asking for the public s help finding an elderly man who was reported missing in south Charlotte.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said 80-year-old Russel Frazier was last seen around 6 p.m. Thursday in the area of Village Brook Drive, near Sharon Road West. Frazier told his daughter he was leaving the house to buy lottery tickets and never came back.
Frazier is described as a Black male, approximately 5-foot-3 and weighs 130 pounds. He is balding and wears glasses. His family reported he was last seen wearing jeans, a gray camo long-sleeve shirt and a black hat. He also had on a watch and white sneakers.
