(WYFF) - A crossing guard who died after being hit by a car is being honored in Spartanburg. Itâs part of an effort to make the area safer for children. Crossing guard Emma Taylor, 73, was hit about 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 30, 2018, in front of Jesse Boyd Elementary School on Fernwood Glendale Road. Taylor died Nov. 7. âWe cry, I mean we cry because I woke up that morning and she was going out the door to cross these kids to school, to do what she loved to do,â said Robin Robinson, Taylorâs daughter. ....

The office does ask that when submitting documents through the mail, to please include an email address. This will ensure you receive an invoice detailing the recording information, such as date recorded, and fees paid. This email will be added to our email list, so you receive office updates and our bi-monthly newsletter. Along with documents mailed directly to us, our office continues to record documents received electronically. The recording staff processes all documents on a daily basis during normal hours, which are Monday through Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Almost all documents in the office are public record and can be viewed through our recording vendor, Landex, going back to 1684. ....
