According to a press release, Robin Ball and her husband Steve opened the gun range on July 25, 1995. Ball has served as CEO of the company for 26 years. “Robin’s dedication to gun owners and the industry has always extended outside of Sharp Shooting,” the company said in a press release. “As one of the first and most impactful women in the country to enter the firearms industry, she has led a new generation of gun owners and female business operators within the firearms industry.” ....

Senate Republicans chose Robin Ball, the owner of Sharp Shooters gun shop and the former chair of the Spokane County Republican Party. House Republicans chose Jim McDevitt, a former U.S. Attorney, as their representative in the county s redistricting. Sen. Mike Padden, who represents Spokane Valley, confirmed the nominees Tuesday. He praised their qualifications for the committee, saying they were knowledgeable about local politics and had a long history in the Spokane area. Nominees will work to expand Spokane County from three to five county commissioner districts. The expansion is a requirement of a state law passed in 2018 and supported by most local legislators. It required the county to add two commissioners and change to district elections. ....

She was an enthusiastic and dedicated fitness professional who offered her services through R&T Nautilus, a gym in Newton, and in homes around the area.
