Family gives 20 tablets to Laventille schools Thursday 28 January 2021 Laventille Girls Government Primary pupils with their tablets at the presentation ceremony. A media release said each school received ten tablets. A presentation was made at the boys school to the principal, Carel Lewis, and the ten students, followed by a presentation to girls school principal Patricia Thorington, and ten students on January 6. ....

Carlos Fabra developed his love for art by recreating his favorite cartoon characters, particularly those found in “Dragon Ball Z.” The hours spent drawing his anime heroes helped propel him into the world of tattooing, and his passion fast-tracked his success in the industry. We caught up with Fabra to learn why he favors black-and-grey and how he continues to create original designs using the same characters. How did you start your career as a tattoo artist? When I was growing up, I was fascinated by people who had tattoos and started drawing things that related to tattoos. I got my first tattoo at 15 and since then I haven’t stopped tattooing myself. When I was 20, I was given my first tattoo machine and I started to practice. Two years later, I quit all my jobs to focus solely on tattooing. ....

It has also brought people together and demonstrated the importance of strength in unity and the resilience of humanity. In its continuing response to provide assistance to band members, the Northern Region of Pan Trinbago teamed up with the TT Defence Force for the most successful food drive and food distribution in the region’s history, the region said in a media release. The Defence Force responded to a request for assistance by Northern Region chairman Desiree Myers. ....
