THUNDER BAY – Police have identified a 24-year-old Thunder Bay man as a person of interest wanted in connection a recent shooting incident on Gore Street.
Det.-Insp John Fennell said they’ve exhausted all investigative avenues in their attempt to locate Robert Bannon and are turning to the public to locate the man.
Fennell said anyone knowing the whereabouts of the suspect should not approach him, but instead phone police with any relevant details. Police have not recovered the firearm involved.
Two separate incidents involving shots fired took place last weekend, one in the 500 block of Gore Street West on Saturday night just before 9:30 p.m. and the other on Sunday night at 10:10 p.m. near Limbrick Street. There were no injuries reported in either incident.
