TRIBUTES have been paid to the kind and generous owner of Eastleigh s oldest taxi company. Peter Kay, 72, owner of Kay s Cabs in Eastleigh, passed away in February and his wife and friends have now paid tribute to him. Wendy Kay, Mr Kay s wife, told the Daily Echo: Everyone who knows Pete would say he the most kind and generous person you could meet. He would always help everyone, never judge anybody. The repercussion is that Africa could cozy up further to a generous Asian giant China. Chinese medical experts have been advising Africans on how to fight the coronavirus pandemic Nothing in the world right now is in as much demand as the coronavirus vaccine. The available BioNtech-Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca vaccines come in short supply and have been purchased by countries with the thickest wallets. The People s Vaccine Alliance, an NGO network, reports that rich nations, representing only 14% of the world s population, have bought up more than half of the most promising vaccines. On the other hand, Africa is at the end of the queue. According to the Economist Intelligence Unit, vaccines will not be available in most African countries until April 2022 at the earliest. ....
German-African auto partnership The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has joined hands with AAAM, the Association of African Automotive Manufacturers, hoping to improve those stats.
