A MAN from Wells also appeared in Yeovil Magistrates Court this week. Richard Gary Weston, 43, of Laurel Cottages in Wells, was fined £264 for three counts of assault by beating. He also received a community order, asked to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 in costs. He pleaded guilty to the offences. A woman from Yeovil was fined £200 for failing to provide a breath test when suspected of drink driving. She was also disqualified from driving for 48 months when she appeared in Yeovil Magistrates Court this week.
