Since September 18, our student-athletes have competed in more than 280 events, with only a handful of cancellations, all due to issues involving our scheduled opponent. Consider with more than two months remaining, this competition athletics year has already produced the following:

Arkansas to meet Arkansas State on gridiron in 2025


The first-ever meeting between the University of Arkansas Razorbacks and the Arkansas State Redwolves will take place in 2025, according to a historic agreement released Wednesday.
Arkansas and Arkansas State will play on Sept. 6, 2025, at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock as part of an amendment to an existing agreement with the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism. The agreement will allow Arkansas to move its previously scheduled games against Missouri in Little Rock to Fayetteville.
Arkansas will now play the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Little Rock in 2021 and 2024, along with the Arkansas State game in 2025. Arkansas will play Western Carolina in 2024 at War Memorial. ....

Razorbacks Sign Amendment With War Memorial Stadium

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas has signed an amendment to an existing agreement with the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism to bring two additional Razorback football games to Central Arkansas in future seasons and extend the overall agreement through the 2025 season.
Future seasons will see War Memorial Stadium play home to in-state matchups with UAPB in 2021 (October 23, 2021) and 2024 (August 31, 2024) and Arkansas State in 2025 (September 6, 2025). Arkansas will also play Western Carolina (September 2, 2023) at War Memorial Stadium in the 2023 season. As part of the amendment, previously scheduled games against Missouri will be moved to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville. ....

Razorback fans react to Texas Bowl cancelation
    FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas (KHBS/KHOG) In a matter of hours, excitement turned to disappointment for Razorback fans as the 2020 Texas Bowl was canceled.
“I feel more for the players. Just the last guys that I know were going to the draft or graduating and don’t have any more eligibility left. One last hoorah with the fellas to get a good win would have been nice for them but obviously that can’t happen anymore,” said lifetime Hogs fan and University of Arkansas graduate Will Warren.
The travel buses were lined up and ready to take the Hogs to Houston, but the team never got the chance to board. ....
