A bus crushed three people to death near Chak No 469GB Ada Boharwali Pulli on Thursday.
Police took the bodies of the victims into their custody, impounded the bus and began searching for the driver who had fled the scene.
Local officials said 35-year-old Allah Ditta son of Khadim, 13-year-old Hashim son of Ashfaq, and 32-year-old Razia Bibi daughter of Khadim, residents of Toba Tek Singh Chak No 183GB were going to Rajana from Samundri on a motorcycle when the speeding bus hit it. ....

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday rejected a request seeking to stop demolition of houses in village Bhekan Syedan and sought comments from the CDA against the petition. Chief Justice Athar Minallah conducted the hearing on a petition, filed by the residents of Bhekan Syedan. A petitioner, Razia Bibi, stated that the CDA was not paying compensation after acquiring her land in the village. The CDA had given notice to demolish the house till Wednesday, she said. The court rejected the request to stop the CDA operation; however, sought comments regarding status of compensation amount from the authority till January 1. ....

A man allegedly sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy who worked at a local restaurant in Dijkot on Friday. Police said the accused, the owner of a tandoor shop, raped the minor boy after giving him narcotic pills.
Police registered a case and started searching for the accused. In the case registered at Madina Town police station by Razia Bibi, the widow of Muhammad Iqbal, a resident of Chak No 530GB, it had been stated that her 12-year-old son was working at Asghar Ali s restaurant near Lahore Naan Shop, Susan Road. Asghar sexually assaulted him by giving him drugs. ....
