For the past two and a half years, Anuradha (Anu) has been working with some of the most vulnerable people in our community through her work as a Senior Case Manager at Rockhampton Community Corrections.
Every day Anu case manages high-risk supervised individuals in the community with the aim to reintegrate, educate and rehabilitate them, and to increase community safety by decreasing recidivism.
Anu’s background is in Law, which she studied in Sri Lanka before migrating to Australia in 2017 to undertake a postgraduate degree.
Along the way, she found QCS and was offered a position as a Senior Case Manager, which combined her passion for law, criminology and the desire to help others. ....

Rocky neighbours receive bizarre threatening notes in mail

Rockhampton home business owner Carmen Davies was shocked to come home this week to find a threatening note in her mailbox, complaining about the number of cars she has on the street.
The note left at Carmen s house which is a her home photography studio. Hello. Your house has had lots of complaints for having too many cars out the front on the street. Please stop or you will get a consequence. This is a warning .
Sharing the note to her business Facebook page, Studio Thirtytwo, and with her neighbours, she was surprised to find out three more of her neighbours had also received notes. ....
