A photo of Rahul Gandhi s ‘abs’ is breaking the Internet. The photo, which seems to have been taken after his much-talked-about dive into the sea on February 24, is being shared widely because of what appears to be the outline of his abs, faintly visible through his shirt. Social Media is of the opinion that unlike most of us, the Congress leader does not seem to have missed any gym sessions during the lockdown.
Gandhi reportedly did not remove his clothes - a blue T-shirt and khaki trousers - before jumping. He changed after reaching back to shore.
He spent around two-and-a-half hours in the sea, interacting with the fishermen and enjoying fish curry cooked by them on the boat.
During his campaign, Gandhi sought to reach out to fishermen in poll-bound Kerala. He told fishermen that his party would include their needs in its election manifesto. He also expressed admiration for their work in sea braving all odds.
Gandhi reiterated his claim made in Puducherry that there was no dedicated ministry for fishermen. Comparing the fishermen with farmers, he said like farmers farm the land, you farm the sea. Farmers have their ministry in Delhi but you don t have a ministry in Delhi.

Thrissur, Feb 16: BJP on Tuesday attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, calling him a migrant leader who has taken shelter in Kerala after being rejected by people of Amethi, once a stronghold of his family.
Targeting Gandhi, who represents Kerala s Wayanad seat in Lok Sabha, on the Sabarimala women entry issue, senior BJP leader and Union Minister Pralhad Joshi claimed that the national leadership and state leadership of the Congress have taken two different stands on the matter.
He urged Gandhi to clear his position on the issue of faith. In a bid to woo Christian votes in the state, Joshi, who is the party s election incharge for Kerala, also cited the appeasement of Islamist fundamentalists by the Congress and ruling Left in the state while raking up the issue of conversion of the Hagia Sophia church into a mosque in Turkey.
