Citizen shoots robber dead July 28, 2021 A suspected robber was shot dead and another wounded by a citizen on Rashid Minhas Road on Tuesday. According to Yousuf Plaza SHO Imran Khan, two suspects riding a motorcycle intercepted a car and snatched valuables from the owner of a rent-a-car service. When the robbers were fleeing after the robbery, the citizen opened fire on them, injuring both the suspects. The suspects were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where Asad succumbed to his injuries while Ameer Khan remained under treatment. KARACHI: Armed robbers shot dead a young man on main Rashid Minhas Road on Sunday, police said. A Federal B Industrial Area police officer said that Waqar, 35, was on his way to Gulistan-i-Jauhar on a Bykea ride from his residence in Orangi Town when a tyre of the motorcycle got punctured near Lucky One. In the meantime, four muggers riding two motorcycles emerged there and tried to snatch their mobile phones and Waqar tried to run away. The muggers fired at him and a bullet hit him in the leg. He was taken to a private hospital where he died due to excessive bleeding, said the officer.
