Jail for man who flouted Railway Village ban

A man has been jailed after breaching an injunction banning him from going to the Railway Village.
William O’Driscoll, 40, was handed the County Court order in November after what police described as months of threatening behaviour.
Barely a month later, after he was sentenced at the magistrates’ court for other matters, he was arrested for breaching the injunction.

District Judge Peter Hatvany, at Swindon County Court, found O’Driscoll guilty of the breach and activated an earlier suspended prison sentence of 35 weeks and three days.

On October 20, William Hodgdon, off the steamer Grayling, was pickpocketed at the Topsham Fair.
