For starters, the space housing Sista Sista in a commercial strip near the Greenville city limit at Rutherford “just popped up.” “I just say the universe sent us this store,” Lykens said. “It came so easy. We really wasn t expecting a store this fast. We were just trying to keep up with the universe, I guess, and God, of course, is the universe. I believe He brought this to us to help catapult us to another level.”

This has been one of the most difficult decisions I ve ever made, Stevenson said. The Country Ham House has been my life. This year, I ll be 80 and I want to spend more time with my children and grandchildren. Originally located on Buncombe Street, Stevenson purchased the restaurant in 1985. It moved to its current location on Rutherford Street in 1997.Along with regular diners, Tommy s has been known as a frequent stop for stumping politicians, and photos of visitors line the restaurant s Wall of Fame. Family aside, the Country Ham House has been my life s great reward, Stevenson said. Operating a restaurant is no easy task, but the satisfaction comes when the dining room is full of folks who say how much they enjoyed their meal and appreciate us being there. Swatara Township police investigating shots fired Updated May 14, 2021; Swatara Township Police is asking the public to reach out to them if they witnessed anything suspicious Friday morning in an area where shots were fired. It happened at approximately 7:54 a.m. at Francis L Cadden Parkway near Rutherford Street, police said. No arrests were made. Officers said they didn’t find anyone injured at the scene.
