On the second day, May 22, the Governor would address the Assembly and on May 24, the concluding day of the three-day Assembly session, a motion of thanks for Governor s speech has been scheduled. The test positivity rate on Wednesday was 8.86%, which was lower than Tuesday s. Similarly, the new cases recorded during the day was also lower than that of the previous day. Tuesday saw the biggest single-day spike of 85 deaths. In these first 12 days of the current month, over 56,000 new cases have been recorded while the fatality count is 602. ....
