Tampa Bay tax-help programs have fewer appointments, but lots of demand
Coronavirus safety concerns have limited the number of sites and reduced the number of volunteers for some tax-assistance programs for low-income people.

• The Massillon Museum will exhibit artwork by area school children through March 7 with a Celebration in Art. The Aultman Health Foundation Gallery glows with color, imagination, and many more works of art than it usually displays. Art teachers in all schools within and surrounding Massillon have been invited to submit artwork by their students from kindergarten through high school.
• Now through March 21, My Community: Through the Eyes of the 21st-Century African American Child is open in the Fred F. Silk Community Room at the Massillon Musuem, 121 Lincoln Way E. The photography exhibition is by fifth- to eighth-grade students. Also on display is Massillon’s Pro and Semi-Pro Teams, 1890–1926, is on display in the Paul Brown Museum. Beth A. Humphrey, 81, passed away on November 28, 2020, at MorningStar Senior Living Lone Tree, CO following a recent decline in health.
Beth was born at home in the small farming town of Garfield, WA, on December 13, 1938 to Dorothy Rice Hanson and Cecil Hanson. She married Bill Humphrey in 1958 and they soon moved to Seattle, WA to start careers and a family. The family moved to the Yakima Valley in 1973 where Bill launched A&B Plastics and Beth worked at Associated Grocers. During their retirement years, they made Sun Lakes, AZ their winter home while returning to Yakima for the summer months. In 2013, shortly after Billâs passing, Beth moved to Castle Rock, CO to be near family.
