USS commits to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050

The Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), the UK s largest pension scheme by assets, has announced its commitment to reach net-zero for greenhouse gasses by 2050.
As part of this, USS Investment Management will develop a comprehensive strategy to deliver on this ambition while also remaining mindful of the scheme s fiduciary duties.
The transition will not rely on buying carbon offsets, and will instead require a fresh focus by its internal investment teams in terms of where and how it divests, as well as collaboration with peer funds, external asset manages and others in the investment value chain.
Actions expected to be included in the short-, medium- and long-term targets currently being developed include working with internal investment teams to ensure processes are in place to select those companies, which assets to own, and which assets to divest from. ....

I don t care what you say, Bagel Bites were ahead of their time when they came out and they re at the top of the snack pyramid. if there is one. While I have a love for Bagel Bites, a woman in Wisconsin does not, because of one ingredient.
Kraft Heinz has found itself in a lawsuit with a woman from Wisconsin named Kaitlyn Huber, according to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The reason why Kaitlyn Huber is suing Bagel bites is because of the “Real Dairy” seal that is on the front of a box. That seal is used to certify a product is made with “genuine, quality dairy.” Now, Kaitlyn Huber disagrees with that seal and filed a claim based on the class-action lawsuit against Bagel Bites. In the lawsuit it states, Wisconsin consumers want real mozzarella cheese in the pizza because they value (1) its soft, moist texture, (2) its milky, yet tangy taste, and (3) its high protein and relatively low calories and sodium compared to other cheeses. ....
