December 24 Yuba City â The Yuba City Early Risers Kiwanis Club will be selling Seeâs candy at the Yuba Sutter Marketplace main entrance, 1215 Colusa Ave., Yuba City, from 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. All proceeds go to benefit the clubâs childrenâs programs. ....
Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture will present a virtual reading of âThe Night Before Christmasâ on Christmas Eve. According to a press release, YSAC was looking for new ways to celebrate the holiday season utilizing virtual platforms since traditional in-person gatherings are out for now due to COVID-19. âA few weeks ago, I had the idea that it would be fun to have different community members each read four lines from the poem,â said Abbie Cesena, YSAC managing director. âWe would put it all together like a virtual readersâ theater and so we started to make a list of potential participants.â ....
