Legends finds itself struggling with tone, and for a show that can make a fight set to Sisqo’s “Thong Song” just a little bit moving, that’s quite a surprise. And while it’s not a terrible episode by any stretch of the imagination, the very best thing about it is the promises it makes about what’s to come. Could be worse. Could also be a lot better. ....

Biden Administration Calls Belarus Jet Diversion a Brazen Affront to Peace

Belarusian flight controllers told a crew there was a bomb threat against a passenger jet as it was crossing through Belarusian airspace on Sunday and ordered it to land, reported the Associated Press.
The threat was allegedly used so that Belarusian authorities could arrest a passenger, Raman Pratasevich, 26, a journalist and prominent critic who ran a popular messaging app that played a key role in helping organize massing protests against the authoritarian leader.
White House press secretary, Jen Psaki, told
Associated Press, It constitutes a brazen affront to international peace and security by the regime. We demand an immediate international, transparent and credible investigation of this incident. ....
