Each senior citizen will receive a total of P3,000, covering the January to June 2021 period. Domagoso also signed the release of P6,000,000 cash assistance for 2,000 retired teachers of Manila’s city schools. The retired teachers will receive a P3,000 old age sustenance allowance (OASA) from the city for the months of January to June 2021. For 807 Senior High School students of Universidad de Manila, the city of Manila allotted P1,614,000 cash assistance. TESDA TESDA Secretary Isidro Lapeña and Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Friday, May 28 signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for a tripartite partnership between and among TESDA, UDM and Public Employment Service Office (PESO)-Manila. Under the MOA, the City of Manila, through the UDM, provides TESDA-Manila with three large rooms as offices boosting the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in the city. Lapeña said that transferring TESDA-Manila office at UDM-Annex in Sta. Cruz, a more strategic location, will be more appropriate and accessible for residents of Manila.
