Australian Greens councillor for Victoria’s Yarra City, Anab Mohamud, has been accused of entering into a brawl with a trans woman outside Chasers Nightclub, where she proceeded to allegedly yell homophobic and transphobic slurs such as “I will make sure all these faggots die”, according to a police statement made by a witness. On May 10, it was reported that Mohamud was allegedly ‘attacked’ outside of the popular gay club, and sustained facial injuries bad enough to require immediate hospitalisation. However, ten days later, it has now been alleged in a police statement made by a witness that Mohamud first grabbed the woman by the hair while she was behind the bars of the venues smoking section. ....
