SCHENECTADY – Former Schenectady County Human Rights Executive Director Angelicia Morris shirked her job responsibilities, was obstructionist, and considered the board more advisory than supervisory, said two witnesses who testified for the county at a hearing where Morris is seeking to clear her name and reputation that she contends was tarnished.
At issue are the five reasons - negligence and abuse of power, insubordination and a failure to adhere to requests made by the commissioners, failure to perform executive director duties, failure to abide by the group’s bylaws, and compromising the integrity of the commission - outlined in a Feb. 18, 2020 letter ....

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A Lubbock-Cooper school bus carrying 11 elementary students was involved in a crash with a semi Thursday morning near FM 1585 and CR 2500, near MLK Ave. All 11 students and the bus driver were taken to the hospital.
The bus driver, 52-year-old Margaret Hernandez, and two students were initially reported to have serious injuries from the crash. Texas Department of Public Safety officials say two children were taken to Covenant Children’s Emergency room, one with serious injuries and one with minor injuries. The one reported to have serious injuries was assessed and was downgraded to have minor injuries. Nine ....
