World Travel Awards set to unveil best brands in Africa


LONDON, England – World Travel Awards (WTA) has unveiled the leading travel brands in Africa for 2012.
South African Airways, Abercrombie & Kent, andBeyond, Avis, Travel with Flair, and Mantis Collection were among the organizations named the finest in their field by WTA’s voters.
Morocco’s continuing rise up the global tourism order was acknowledged with it emerging victorious in several blue-ribbon categories. The ancient medina of Marrakech saw off tough competition from the likes of the Kalahari Desert (Namibia), Kruger National Park (South Africa), Mt. Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), and Cape Town (South Africa) to win the coveted title of “Africa’s Leading Destination.” ....
