BRITISH overseas territories fill the top three spots of the world’s “greatest enablers of corporate abuse,” according to research by campaigners for tax justice. 
The British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Bermuda came first, second and third respectively in Tax Justice Network’s latest research on the world’s most significant tax havens. 
Its corporate tax haven index ranks each country based on how intensely the country’s tax and financial systems allow multinational corporations to shift their profits to tax havens.
For the first time, the United Arab Emirates has joined the list, which is calculated every two years.  ....
