In accordance with mandates from the federal government and the New Jersey Department of Health, the Monmouth County Health Department (MCHD) has begun vaccinating groups who fall under the 1A category for the COVID-19 vaccination.
The vaccination is given by appointment only at the MCHD, 50 E. Main St., Freehold, according to a Dec. 30 press release from the county.
“The county health department has vaccinated 204 individuals who fall under the 1A category, more specifically healthcare and long-term care facility personnel,” Freeholder Director Thomas A. Arnone was quoted as saying in the press release. ....
