UMSL Succeed and Missouri Historical Society discuss intersection of Black history, disability rights during digital event

Nya Hardaway, the community outreach coordinator for the African American History Initiative at the Missouri Historical Society; Rachel Goldmeier, an UMSL Succeed student support specialist; and Frances Davis, an UMSL Succeed practicum student; created âBlack History and Disability Rights: The Coalescence of Disregarded Voicesâ for the Missouri Historical Societyâs STL History Live series. The virtual event was presented on July 24.
Nya Hardaway was doing research on the intersection of Black history and disability rights when she came across an article about âHolla if You Hear Me,â a February 2020 event on that exact topic hosted by the Succeed Program at the University of MissouriâSt. Louis.

Tech Moves: Ex-Tableau sales chief Kelly Breslin Wright joins Gong; Slalom expands board; more

An early employee at Tableau, Wright spent 12 years at the Seattle-based company leading the sales operations. Prior to departing in 2016, she was EVP of sales.
She currently serves on the board at Fastly and Lucid. Wright is also an adjunct professor at the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
“I’m ecstatic to jump back into an operational role that integrates my lifelong passions for sales, data, and culture,” said Wright in a statement.
In her new role, Wright will lead Gong’s marketing, customer support and revenue teams.
