After an hour-long standoff with law enforcement, a Brazil man is in custody after a violent domestic altercation Thursday evening.
Clay County Sheriff s Office confirms James Dean Foster, 29, Brazil, faces felony charges of Resisting law enforcement, Intimidation, Domestic battery, and Strangulation from the incident that started shortly after 7 p.m.
According to a press release by the CCSD, around 7:15 p.m., Clay County 911 Dispatch received a 911 call regarding a violent domestic altercation between a mother and a son.
As deputies traveled to 4482 West State Road 340, they were told Foster grabbed his mother by the neck and threw her to the ground. Officials also confirmed Foster had Felony Warrants in Clay County for other battery-related cases. ....

CSPD investigating use of force against suspect

The man was arrested for outstanding warrants at a College Station apartment complex Wednesday.

Billy McClenton is charged with resisting arrest and evading arrest. CSPD said he was wanted for outstanding warrants for theft and forgery.
