North Melbourne remains in touch with the AFLW pace setters following a dominant 35-point win over Richmond at Punt Road Oval.
Key points:
They kept the Tigers goalless until the third quarter
Emma King impressed for the Kangaroos with two goals for the match
The Kangaroos set up the 10.7 (67) to 5.2 (32) victory in the first half as they ran amok while holding Richmond goalless, making it apparent this was a match between a premiership contender and a side that has now won only once in 12 AFLW appearances. ....

Round 6 of the AFLW season has been released – the highlight of which is a blockbuster clash between Collingwood and the Western Bulldogs at Victoria Park on Sunday.
For several other teams, this is just about the last roll of the dice, with the Giants’ finals hopes hinging on a tough home clash with the Brisbane Lions in what will be the first AFL or AFLW match to be played in Canberra since August 2019.
St Kilda’s finals aspirations will also go on the line when they face Melbourne at Casey Fields, while we will have our first return clash in AFLW history when the West Coast Eagles and Fremantle contest the second Western Derby of the season, to be played with fans in attendance. ....

The 2021 AFLW season gets underway on Thursday, with Carlton and Collingwood set to meet at Ikon Park.
There’s been uncertainty surrounding the fixture, but everything appears to be lined up for Round 1, with Victorian fans heading back to the footy for the first time in 12 months.
What does 2021 hold? Here’s some predictions for the season.
Who will play finals?
AFLW is tough to predict, with the lower scoring nature and style of play coupled with wild weather usually making all results possible.
Having said that, at a glance, there are five teams to be reasonably confident in with a gap to the pack coming into 2021. ....
