Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the project was started with an MoU signed between Amul and the state government on July 21 to give a fillip to the empowerment of women self help groups by encouraging the milk cooperatives in the government sector. The AP Amul Palavelluva Projet was started on December 2 and milk has been being collected in 400 villages in Chittoor, YSR Kadapa and Prakasam districts. He said the AP Amul Project will start in Guntur and milk will be collected from 129 villages in the district and also in174 villages in Chittoor district from today. ....

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today launched AP Amul Project in Guntur district and outlined ₹4,000 crore plans to strengthen the milk supply chain.

Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said the state government will set up multi purpose facility centers including agricultural marketing and food processing under RBKs across the State with an estimated budget of Rs 10,235 crore.
During a review meeting on Dr YSR RBKs, Agricultural Marketing, Food Processing and Amul project held here on Thursday, the Chief Minister siad the construction of multi purpose facility centers should start in March 2021 and would be completed within a year.The facilities include Warehouses, Drying Platform, Collection Centers, Cold Rooms for Storage, Custom Hiring Centers, Primary Processing Centers, Assaying Equipment, Janata Bazaars, Bulk Milk Cooling Units, Cattle sheds and aqua infra in select Villages, Procurement Centers and e-marketing. ....

Amaravati: Farmers had sowed well in 2019 election and are reaping a bounty harvest with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy rolling a green carpet and continuing the legacy of being farmer friendly through his various welfare schemes and projects. The Year has seen good rainfall, bounty crop and in the testing times of Covid, the Chief Minister gave the much needed helping hand by buying agriculture produce, even perishable goods, and ensuing MSP and checking the price fluctuations.
The farmers could not have asked for more, with Rythu Bharosa being given in three timely spells, corp insurance, input subsidy, soft loans, setting up of Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBKs) which serve as one stop shop for all the needs of farmer from supply of quality seeds to procurement and marketing facilities. ....
