The cost, estimated at $114,700 plus PST, would be paid 100 per cent by the property owners that would benefit from the paving through a process known as a local improvement. The city is proposing that those living on Landmark Place would benefit 100 per cent from the paving, while the properties that use Landmark Place as a back alley would benefit 50 per cent. The cost would be split among the property owners on that basis, with the city estimating those using the road as a primary access would pay around $7,600 each, while those using it as a back alley would pay around $3,800 each. ....
