Teen driver arrested after allegedly leading deputy on high-speed chase in Apple Valley
Authorities have arrested a 17-year-old boy following a high-speed pursuit in Apple Valley earlier this week.
The Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station reported Thursday that Deputy Stuart Cullum observed a Cadillac SLS speeding eastbound on Bear Valley Road at 11:07 p.m. Wednesday.
Cullum attempted to stop the vehicle before a short chase ensued. The driver, later identified as the 17-year-old boy whose name was not released, allegedly drove recklessly through a residential area, reaching speeds of over 90 mph and crossing over double yellow lines, the report said. ....
