TAUNTON All but one of Taunton s city councilors are running for reelection in November. But they will be up against at least 11 challengers. That s how many have taken out nomination papers with more than two months to go for more candidates to join the crowded field. Taunton s current city councilors include Council President Chris Coute, Barry Sanders, Deborah Carr, Phil Duarte, David Pottier, Gerald Croteau, Jeff Postell, John McCaul and Donald Cleary. Carr is undecided about whether she wants to run again. John McCaul McCaul has been serving on the City Council for 10 years. He works as an emergency response coordinator for ServiceMaster by Gilmore, a building restoration company. He is also a National Guard veteran and member of the Taunton Kiwanis Club. ....
