Trial begins for teen accused of planning school shooting in Fulton County
FULTON COUNTY, Ind. On day one of the jury trial, three people were called to the stand to dive into Schultz’s alleged planning process.
“There’s a lot of research done on the internet, through YouTube, docuseries, documentaries or whatever, there’s a lot of research done, they don’t have a lot of cache of weapons lying around their house,” Lt. Detective Matt Campbell with the Rochester City Police said.
Campbell testified on the stand first. He said that on July 13 of last year he received a tip from Schultz’s family member about John Schultz and Robins s plans to kill students and teachers inside Rochester High School and Caston High School.

Michael Marrs has lived in Mocksville for about as long as he can remember.
Like most people, he trusts someone when they tell him something. So, when he got a phone call one day, he heard something alarming on the other end.
The caller claimed they were with the Social Security Administration. He said Marrs’ social security number was tied to a drug ring in Texas, there was a warrant for his arrest and he needed to pay up. Then they were telling me that I had to have that money for a federal bond to keep from having officers come out and arrest me, said Marrs.
