Staffing crisis at Bremerton nursing home hit by COVID-19 outbreak

BREMERTON  A coronavirus outbreak at Forest Ridge Health and Rehabilitation has infected scores of residents and prompted a staffing crisis at the Bremerton nursing home.   
Kitsap Public Health officials say they are working with the state Department of Social and Health Services, Department of Health, and the Department of Labor and Industries to respond to the outbreak, which was declared on Dec. 17. 
At least 78 people have been infected at the facility, according to Kitsap Public Health. However, it’s unclear how many confirmed cases have been linked to staff versus residents. The health district said it does not release that information, though the facility could do so.  ....
