They see nuclear power as a clean, carbon-free energy source along with hydropower, wind, and solar. Several of the innovative, next-generation reactor designs are safer, smaller, modular, and more mobile. They may power space flights, run on recycled nuclear fuel, and even act as portable generators for disaster response. One design, molten salt reactors (MSRs), are gaining momentum in the nuclear community. Feb 1, 2021 CHESTER, W.Va. Donna Lou Perkins, formerly of Ohio Avenue, East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 27, 2021 at the Orchards Stone Pear Pavilion. She was 82. Born in East Liverpool, July 14, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Virginia Cunningham Ward. A resident of this area all her life, she was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1956. She worked at Riverview Greenhouse at one time and later worked in the service department at Hills Department Store. For many years she also worked as a poll worker for the Columbiana County Board of Elections. Donna was associated with the East Liverpool City Hospital Auxiliary where she was named Volunteer of the Year. She was also active with her high school class and a member of the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association. She attended Hope Christian Fellowship and most recently she attended the Tri-State Community Church in Chester. ....

She brings a collaboration-based psychiatric service model that is patient-driven and centered on the clinic. Collaborative care is an evidence-based way to deliver treatment for mental illness, different from what most people are familiar with. In this model, patients make treatment decisions with their primary care providers, but get expert treatment oversight by a psychiatrist. That means patients are treated faster, not having to wait for a referral to a community psychiatrist. ....
