Environmental groups fighting construction of the power line say two members of the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin with ties to transmission companies involved with the project were biased in approving the corridor and that the line’s approval is doing ongoing harm. U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge John H. Rich III said Scott Irish, 42, of 25 Old Route 26, could be moved from Cumberland County Jail in Portland to a residential drug addiction recovery facility where he was enrolled in a monthlong rehabilitation program.
