officially announced the commitment of 10 preferred walk-on run-on players. Among these signees is Evan Clark, a quarterback from Manheim Township High School in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Clark’s journey to Happy Valley began in a unique way. After being born in Minnesota, he and his family moved around quite a bit due to his father’s job at The Hershey Company. “I was born in Minnesota, then I moved to Illinois, Arkansas, then I spent a couple of years in China,” Clark said. “Then, I moved over here in fourth grade.” Even though he spent a lot of his younger years moving around, sports were always a big part of Clark’s life, and he became a three-sport athlete just like his dad. ....
Penn State football’s former dual-threat quarterback announced Friday afternoon that he’ll transfer to Kentucky. Levis entered the transfer portal just last week after spending his redshirt sophomore season primarily as Sean Clifford’s backup. After appearing in several games in 2019 and even starting against Rutgers, Levis saw an increased role in Penn State’s offense this past season. The Madison, Connecticut native appeared in nearly all of the Nittany Lions’ contest and used his running ability often. Levis saw most of his playing time over a two-week stretch in games against Nebraska and Iowa. He replaced a struggling Clifford against the Cornhuskers and earned a start against the Hawkeyes the following week. The 6’3″, 222-pound gunslinger threw for 219 yards in relief of Clifford, but struggled in his second-career start against the Hawkeyes. ....
