Knowledgeable voting, service, caring for others and truth-telling are a citizen’s greatest responsibilities to civil society. Three of these four are Christian responsibilities.

Polls show 75% of Republicans believe there was massive fraud and the Democrats stole the election. This is not true. William Barr, Trump’s attorney general, has said there was no significant fraud, it was a fair election and Biden won.
But more than 50 million who voted for Trump are bitter, and some may become violent. The only way to have them accept the facts is to have state and local Republican leaders publicly state that the election was fair. For Warren County that means state Sens. Mike Doherty and Steve Oroho, and Assemblymen John DiMaio, Erik Peterson, Harold Wirths and Parker Space. ....

TRENTON, N.J. – Democrats posted a last-minute resolution in both chambers on Monday condemning President Donald Trump and calling for him to be removed from office – or at least impeached – for his alleged role in inciting last week’s Capitol Hill riot.
“This House strongly urges that President Donald J. Trump resign from office, be removed from office for being unfit to serve as President pursuant to the 25th Amendment of the United States Constitution, or be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors pursuant to Article 1 of the United States Constitution,” read the language of the resolution.

Two GOP Senators – Declan O’Scanlon (R-13) and Chris Brown (R-2) – voted in favor of the resolution. No Assembly Republicans voted yes.  ....
