The William Bonifas Fine Arts Center is a regional organization that focuses on art, music, theater, and art learning in the Upper Peninsula. The bank has renewed this donation annually for over 20 years in continued support of the arts in Delta County. Upper Peninsula State Bank is a full service $260 million bank established in 1902 and headquartered in the Upper Peninsula with offices in Escanaba, Iron Mountain, Gladstone, and soon to be Marquette. ....
TERESA SCHETTLER IRON MOUNTAIN –The Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce membership have chosen five directors for its 15-member board. All are elected for a three-year term. They are: Teresa Schettler, public relations/marketing specialist, Dickinson County Healthcare System. Schettler is the board’s vice president, a post she retains, and is committed to the Chamber vision. She also has been a Chamber ambassador since 2014. Matthew Lutz, chief financial officer, First National Bank & Trust. Lutz has been on the Chamber board for four years as well as serving on other local boards of directors and nonprofits and actively participates in Chamber and community events. He has a strong financial background and is on the Accounting Advisory Board for Bay College; treasurer for the Dickinson Area Community Foundation; a Chamber ambassador; and a Habitat for Humanity volunteer, along with other posts. ESCANABA Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Directors of the Gary Abrahamson Jr. Memory Care Center has decided to cancel the 2021 Par-Tee Fundraising Dinner, originally scheduled for April 15, 2021. “While this decision was a difficult one, in light of the continued uncertainty about the future, we decided that it is best to cancel the Par-Tee this year for everyone’s safety,” said Mary Uelmen, who works in the Mission Advancement Office at the Bishop Noa Home and manages the Gary Abrahamson, Jr. Memory Care Center (GAJMCC). ....
