Am 1. Juli ist es so weit: Das Euskirchener Kino öffnet nach acht Monaten seine Türen wieder für Gäste. Die Abwesenheit der Besucherinnen und Besucher hat Betreiberin Claudia Hebbel genutzt, um einen der Säle im kleineren Kino, dem Arthouse, zu renovieren und mit neuen Sitzen auszustatten. „Wir haben auch oben die Bar renoviert. Das war zwar schon letztes Jahr. Aber gesehen hat die noch kein Gast, weil wir dann direkt wieder wegen Corona schließen mussten“, sagt Betriebsleiter Sebastian Arenz.
Die letzten Renovierungsmaßnahmen laufen noch. Zum 1. Juli soll aber alles fertig sein. Die alten Sitze hätten sie im Übrigen nicht entsorgt, sondern im Netz inseriert. „Die sind wir sofort losgeworden. Manche Leute stehen total darauf, alte Kinosessel bei sich zu Hause zu haben“, erzählt Arenz. ....

NEW HAVEN, Conn. Taking food to go! It’s how many have helped support local businesses during the pandemic. From February 21st to the 25th New haven is celebrating that with a little to-go special.
The first annual New Haven To-Go event offers a week of specials at over 30 participating restaurants, all from a social distance.
