Which, by the way, is why permitless carry is called constitutional carry, as it is a return to carrying guns for self-defense based on the authority of the Bill of Rights rather than the possession of government-issued permit. After all, those first ten amendments in the Bill of Rights protect natural rights the Founding Fathers purposely kept from being under the government’s purview. Freedom of speech, religion, and assembly, all protected by the First Amendment, and the right to keep and bear arms, protected by the Second, private property and security in our “persons, houses, papers, and effects,” protected by the Third and Fourth Amendments, and so on. ....

David Samson / The Pioneer WEST FARGO Early Monday, Jan. 11, bulldozers were making history in West Fargo as former townhomes were razed as the city and Housing Authority of Cass County moves into Phase Three of its nearly $30 million affordable housing redevelopment plan. Phase three includes demolishing 24 50-year-old housing units on the 900 block of West Sheyenne Street. The 38 new townhomes and row houses will become Sierra Townhomes and will serve income-qualified families and individuals.
