Patriots Day Parade to take place virtually COURTESY OF THE LEXINGTON TOWN CELEBRATIONS COMMITTEE Lexington is not letting Patriots’ Day go by without a proper celebration. “Everything was shut down in 2020,” said June Baer, chair of the Town Celebrations Committee. “But all agreed this year must be different.” In the weeks leading up to Patriots’ Day, TCC is sponsoring a Miles and Smiles competition, a “Door to Patriotic Spirit” competition and historical Zoom seminars. For Patriots’ Day on April 19, TCC will create a virtual Patriots’ Day Parade to be aired on LexMedia at 2 p.m. The video begins on the morning of April 19, 1775. Judson was a graduate of Villanova University and Georgetown University Medical School, did his surgical residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, and later a cardiothoracic surgical residency in Salt Lake City, Utah. His family said his “passion for medicine as a general and cardiothoracic surgeon included work in Blacksburg, Va.; the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.; Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas; Benton Harbor, Mich.; and Harrisburg.” He volunteered at Hôpital Albert Schweitzer in Haiti where he was the medical director from 1997 to 1999. ....
