No wasted vaccines in Preble By Braden Moles - [email protected] EATON Preble County EMA Director Dave Anderson met with the Preble County Board of Commissioners on Wednesday, Feb. 17, to update the county’s vaccination progress. Anderson said he is participating in phone calls and Zoom meetings with the Ohio EMA, Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association and the Ohio Department of Health. Additionally, Preble EMA has assisted the health department with planning, setup and operation of vaccine clinics in Preble County. “Since January 29 – that was their first clinic – they’ve had 16 clinics to date,” Anderson said. “They’ve done 2,055 first shots and they’ve got 692 second shots done.” ....
HIT supports continuing eviction moratorium Submitted by Clayton Genth - Executive Director, HIT Foundation On Monday, Jan. 11, HIT Foundation staff Laura Coffey, Jennifer Weathington, Emily Rohwer and Clayton Genth, along with HIT Foundation board members Mary Bullen, Kathy Smallwood and Jeff Allen attended a national call with Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown. This call was hosted by the National Low Income Housing Coalition, a Washington D.C. based affordable housing advocacy organization. The primary reason for the call was to advocate for the continuance of the existing eviction moratorium which is set to expire Jan. 31 if action is not taken and to advocate for Emergency Rental Assistance programs.
