Salida police officers arrested Richard Ace Brannon, 34, of Salida July 25 on a charge of driving a motor vehicle when license under restraint â revoked. He was held in lieu of $1,000 bail. Bridget Kay Bidwell, 24, Cañon City, was arrested July 24, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia â penalty, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and violation of a protection order. She was held in lieu of $1,000 bail. Philip Todd Osbon, 47, Baytown, Texas, was arrested July 24 on a charge of retaliation against a witness or victim. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bail. Morris Winton Gunter, 38, Buena Vista, was arrested July 22 on charges of third-degree simple assault, third-degree criminal trespass, domestic violence, harassment with insults, taunts and challenges and violation of a protection order. Many Rivers Celebrates 10th Anniversary Many Rivers Community Acupuncture is celebrating a decade of providing affordable acupuncture in Connecticut. Many Rivers opened its doors in May 2011 in Windsor. Founded by Carrie Sawtell, L.Ac., Many Rivers reached its initial goal of giving 100 treatments per week by the end of its first year in business. “When I moved back to Connecticut after living in China, I only knew a few people in the area,” says Sawtell. “The business community of Windsor welcomed me with open arms and provided incredible support since I was a first-time small business owner.” Word spread quickly about the affordable and effective community acupuncture model. Soon Many Rivers had a wait list for treatments, and Sawtell hired additional acupuncturists and reception staff to meet the demand. After four years at its downtown Windsor location, Many Rivers expanded to a larger location on Bloomfield Avenue. ....
